All wood is hand selected from saw mills in the New England area. We generally create mantles constructed of Walnut, Maple, or Oak; but there are many other hardwood species to choose from for your piece.

Each mantle is handcrafted with close attention to detail. Surfaces are planed then hand sanded to the perfect smoothness, and all edges are mitered for a seamless transition of the wood grain from the face of the mantle to the sides.

Each mantle is finished with a waterproof luster sheen Oil/Wax Finish. The finish is food safe, solvent free, UV inhibitor, and non-toxic.
